If the woman's real intention is to break up with the guy, she will be glad and happy that the guy initiated it. The problem is.....if she freaks out, I don't think breakin' up is her real plan.

it goes the same way with the guys i think. its's not about sexes here, but it's about who's being 1st... and the 1 who's breaking up is usually will be the 1 who'll heal quickly from the breaks up and move on with their live

Since you posted your question here I am sure the girl is a Filipina. If she wants to break up with you, I think she should be glad since you've done her a favor. No effort and explanation needed and it is done.
I've been with my filipina gf for quite sometimes, if you commit mistake and they acknowledged it. Take that time to make up, it means she is giving you a chance. Dont be asshole to let her go, ofcourse unless she does not mean anything to you.
