I have 3 kids: 28, 22 & 16, and from birth I've let them know that there is NOTHING they could do, think about doing, want to do or wish they could do that I haven't already done. So when you want to tell a lie or con me, remember this...I ALWAYS FIND OUT AND KNOW ALL!!! LOL
What's so funny about that is that I have come back sometimes years later and bust them on something. That look of astoundment is priceless :-)

I don't have kids but I have a whole bunch of nieces and nephews that like to pull one over on me, but they don't get away with much cause I've been there done that!! They have a lot of respect for me and they no they can talk to me about anything in confidence so they don't normally try to pull one over on me!! They call me life advice all the time and we spend as much time together as possible!!

When my daughter was in high school she was the sneakiest one alive. I trusted her until she told the lie and one of her friends that she was suppose to be with busted her little plan. After that, there was no more trust and if she lied after that it had to have been the most carefully planned lie because I would check up on her wherever she went.

My youngest can still catch me off guard. I think it's because she is so sweet it is hard to believe she could be dishonest. I think she throws me a few curve balls to keep me on my toes.
