Why is conservative talk radio so popular?

Why are conservative talk radio shows like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hanity, and Laura Ingraham, so popular, while liberal talk radio is such a failure?

Conservative talk radio is interesting and thought provoking. Liberal radio that I have listened to is lacking in new ideas and based on a collective hatred of Bush.

Conservatives run the media. And everything else. People want money and conservatives have it. Many are fearful to admit that they listen. On youtube check out " Bloodlines Illuminati" for the secret history of the world. When people invest faith in something they don't want to find out that all the faith they invested was a waste. Don't stop believing. Hillary will be pres. and it will take the heat off the Rep. but the agenda (war in Iran) will be the same. We must believe everything our leaders tell us no matter what. Because folks tuning in are finally hearing their own views and beliefs, something they never get from CNN or CBS. The American people are damned tired of the left wing points of view they hear every day on T.V., or read each evening in the paper. What a refreshing change to discover that there really are other people out there who believe that the United States is a great nation; that we should win the war in Iraq; that we should be searching Arab men at airports rather than little old ladies; that illegal aliens should be deported, not put on welfare; that we should execute killers rather than babies; that we have more right to keep our own money than the govt has; that there is nothing wrong with the Pledge of Allegiance or the 10 Commandments in school; that I should be responsible for the things I do and that the only person who has the right to tell me what to think, is me! That's why it's popular and will continue to be.

Liberals run most of the TV, and conservatives run the radio. It is a place for them to hear a point of view that matches there own. Liberal radio failed because it was run as a political organization, not a radio station. They set up shows not based on people starting out small, building a fan base, and then making it big. They picked people and tried to make them big. That and they did not understand one thing. The only place conservatives have to go is FOX and the radio, liberals have the rest of the media. They had to compete against the TV and newspapers too.

Liberal talk radio is a failure for numerous reasons I shall give you a few. They are too busy working and being productive members of society to waste time and energy on talk radio. They do not need talking points and pseudo facts spoon fed to them via a ranting incoherent talk show fueled by hatred for those with opposing beliefs. They get actual news and information from credible journalists not paid entertainers.Their form of entertaiment is not listening to someone slander the other side using any vile under handed means they can sink to.

Because it's simple. The political pundits on those shows yell and think that just because they raise their voice the loudest means that they're right. They get angry over any program that helps the less fortunate and make Americans think that they should be angry too. The truth is that most of those pundits like O'Reilly, Hannity, Coulter and Limbaugh have made MILLIONS from advertising done on their shows, from selling their fictitious "non-fiction" books, and most likely, they get money from lobbyists to rail against this government program or that, because it keeps the rich getting richer and the poor and middle class, well, poor and middle class. Then they endorse other programs or to endorse the newest pharmaceutical drug. They DON'T CARE about the poor and middle class and DON'T have the best interests of the Majority in mind. They are looking out for themselves and their rich friends. They state opinions as though they're facts and because they say it with such self-assurance their listeners don't have to think, they just beLIEve the lies. We are all entitled to our own opinions, but we are not entitled to our own fact. The truth is that Conservatives LOVE Big Government. They just won't admit to it. Look at how well they use it all. Local, state and federal governments give Corporate subsidies to a company that wants to build a store in their city. Why? Because the company says it will "create" jobs. But it creates construction jobs for as long as it takes to build the store. Then all that's left are low-paying Wal-Mart wage jobs. Then pro-sports teams use governments to build their multi-million dollar stadiums. Conservatives use government to go after debtors, they use it to protect copyrights and patents that keep drug prices high, and they use the tax system to protect as much of THEIR money as possible while taking as much of YOURS as they possibly can. Taxes on "earned income" from stocks, dividends and capital gains are much LOWER than taxes from actual labor. The rich pay 15% on millions upon millions earned from stocks, etc. while you pay 35% on your labor. Something is seriously wrong with this picture. There is a serious REDISTRIBUTION of wealth going on in the United States, and it's all going UP to those who need it Least!

Liberals spew a bunch of nonsense. Rush, Hannity and
other conservatives tell the truth and they have the facts
they give you to prove what they are saying. We, the public,
like the truth, like patriotic citizens, like the traditions of
America (that are being torn down by liberals), and we don't
like being taxed to death for stupid "pork-filled legislature"
that the Democrats keep dreaming up and sending to the
president to be passed into law. Bush knows we have to
start being fiscally responsible or we will keep doubling the
debt, and then the Democrats will blame him for the financial
shape this Nation is in when their legislation put us there.
If liberal radio is like liberal Harry Reid, I'm not surprised
their programs are a failure.

Because true conservatism allows freedom of speech and takes into consideration all points of views in order to show why one is better than the other. while liberal speak stifles other points of view if they do not concur with there own because this threatens there usually weak arguments on spending, moral and social issues. For example political correctness is not a conservative creation. because it stifles free speech and thought this is one of the most dangerous threats to freedom and the constitution. Most americans get it. while those who hide themselves behind ivory college walls spouting and teaching there hate for that same country which allows them to speak there venom to our young sponge heads who only figure out what is really going after they leave these campuses and return to the real world of life in America.

Because libs are only good at spreading propaganda and their commie memes and lies and message of hedonism, Satanism and socialism through movies, tv and rock music when no one can call them up on the phone to tell them to knock it off like they can with the radio format. On the radio libs have to actually try and communicate which they are not used to because they are not used to being talked back to. Because it is hard to watch TV when your driving around to the next Nascar race, and hunting beaver and possum. They like to fill themselves up with hatred, indignation and lies while listening to the radio on their way to church, where they can get more of the same.
