Who are the dems trying to fool with this? Why not just come out and say what they truly believe..that they want America to be destroyed by islamic terrorists.

Well, I haven't read the article, so I may be totally off base here....but I'm going to try anyway. First, I don't believe this is about Dems or Republicans, we are sometimes blinded by 'labels' or even 'titles'. I think its about Habeus Corpus. That is, every one gets a fair trial. Remember: Innocent until proven guilty. Secondly, in America, if a crime is committed somewhere, then that is the Venue in which the Trial will be held. That is to say, if someone commits a crime in NY, then it will be NY that holds the Trial...not Florida. If a crime occurs against AMERICA on AMERICAN soil, then yes, we apply the American Constitution, and American laws. If a Frenchman comes to America and commits murder, we will not use France's laws, but ours... its not their nationality, race, sex or religion that matters, but OUR Constitution. You can check out Habeus Corpus's recent beginnings by doing a search.. you will find Lord Shaftesbury, Anthony Ashley, in London initiated it....along with John Locke... yes, Locke of 'Life, Liberty....' fame (Jefferson later used it in his famous writing)

You don't make sense!
Most you are talking about were picked up in sweeps and at road blocks and have been held over 5 years without even being charged!
What they want to repeal is the unconstitutional Military Commissions Act of 2006, which has bee ruled unconstitutional 2 times. Once by the 4th circuit court of appeals after Bush picked up AN AMERICAN citizen and held him 5 years in a Navy brig with no charges!
The administration has no plans to charge many of them as they have NO evidence, but now are having trouble finding countries to take them! The ones they have charged, they have lost almost every, if not every case. If they didn't have the right of Habeas they still would not have been tried.
I suppose you are for holding innocent people forever.
We aren't talking about Islamic Terrorist, and we aren't talking about any who have been convicted outside a US Civil Court!
So perhaps you can dump on someone besides dem's as it is your ilk who have made this a total disaster!

Look like They have more Rights and Privileges than we do and are forcing their religious beliefs on Americans as Law! Jello, Christmas, Easter are offensive to them, so we all have to comply with No Civil Rights or Free Speech for Americans in HR Bill 2015. Check the Below IT TELLS EXACTLY WHY!

ALL MEN...not just christian, American or white. try them if found guilty do what ever. but 800 years of law cannot be thrown out to assuage your fears.
