Yeah, but only on principle- I don't really like what any of the parties stand for at the moment. DONT VOTE FOR CAMERON!! Yes, Gordon Browns an a#%e, but just look at Cameron. Forget policies, he just doesn't have the character, experience, spine, intellect, force of will, guile, or any qualities you need to run a country without spasing it up. We have a terminal lack of potential competent leaders at the moment, and until we find some Gordon Brown is the least crap of the lot.
The root of the problem is that our democracy has got fundamentaly sloppy- political parties trade policies like football cards while at the same time treating differences of opinion within their own ranks as a bad thing- New Labour show a tow-the-party-line front that would have made Stalin jealous.
The differences between the parties has pretty much been reduced to how to tweak the economic numbers, what selection of financial carrots to dangle in front of voters, and whos got the dodgiest private life.
Democracy and politics is about so much more. We've still got all the important parts in place; a working parliament with the infrastructure to affect change, a welfare state, public health and education- we just need to get imaginative again and start thinking about how we want our country to look and how we can go about doing it. Knocking out yet more prisons, for example, isn't going to work, and we know it - it's just no one wants to say it because it raises more questions that have even more uncomfortable answers, and difficult solutions.
More and more people would rather their politicians make nice noises and offer distractions rather than offer solutions that might involve challenging or changing our view and way of life.
S@$t, that was bit of rant-sorry all...

Of all of the solutions you acquire, different than one, bought into the concept the elections are next month. those are the same nimrods who actually have a vote. God help us. The elections are in 08. enable me say it returned, the elections are in 08 ! George Bush can not run returned, he's a 2 term president and there are term limits of two comprehensive words for the presidency. Please, you scare the crap out of the common voter with inane questions. the frightening area is which you would be able to cancel my vote, and you probable base your vote on the applicants hairline.

Yes I'll vote, an unused vote is a wasted vote, not sure who I'll opt for as yet, need to see what they have to offer first.
