I have gone back to watching the view since Sherri and especially Whoopi were added to the show. I find the different points of view refreshing. I like the jokes, the comments, and opinions of intelligent women, yes even Elizabeth who brings a very conservative viewpoint. Although I should add that I thought Starr´s´points of view better substantiated. I agree that Elizabeth´s "I think you should believe this because I said so" attitude can be, at times, very annoying. Overall though I think The View is a very good show.

As to your question on which show has more class. Are you referring to a show that leaves you with a lesson learned, that does not demean people, that stimulates the mind? Then, I would I would have to say that Oprah and in some aspects The View do just that.

The view was a great idea in theory. But in reality, it just isn't working. There have been times when I want to strangle all of them, well maybe not Whoopi. The women all talk at the same time and I can't understand what they're all saying. To be honest, I think Barbara Walters has lost some of the class that she had before this show aired. Elizabeth's idealistic views are way off. She crams her opinions down everyones throat. I really thought ten years ago... what a great concept. Now, I think boy how wrong was I. In my opinion, there is absolutely no comparison between the View and Dr. Phil and Oprah.

The View has been dwindled to nothing but four women who sit around and piss and moan about how the world sucks, etc. Half of the time, they don't even know what they are saying, Elisabeth in particular, who just sits there and sings the praises of Bush like a Celine Dion single. Though she is an improvement on Rosie, many have criticised Whoopi for her comments on Michael Vick's dogfighting escapade, saying it was part of Southern culture. Many are disgusted by this show, and would rather watch the others you have mentioned. Hell, they would even settle for "The Price is Right."

One of my biggest pet peeves about this show is the fact that these women *all* talk over each other. Half the time you can't understand who is saying what. I was always taught when someone is speaking, you listen and keep your mouth shut until it's your turn to speak. I love the addition of Whoopi to the show and think she'll be a terrific asset. I liked how she put Elizabeth in her place yesterday. IMO, the show would be better if Elizabeth and her moral compass were removed from it. Also, IMO, I think Oprah's show is much better all the way around than The View. No opinion on the other shows as I've not seen most of them.

I didn't use to like the View, but now that Whoopi and Sherri are on the show, I like it. Sometimes I have to fast forward through Elizabeth's rants. I like that they all have different views, I'd hate it if everyone had the same view. I just don't like it when people are close minded and don't actually take a second to consider that there is a possibility that there is another opinion and it may be a valid one. I feel that way in everyday life. There are so many close minded liberals and close minded conservatives in our country. Get over yourselves already.

It never had class. Before the View I used to think Barbra Walters was a feminist icon but now she's just so pathetic, from the way she treated Star, the mistake in hiring Elizabeth, the mistake in hiring Rosie, the way she handled the Rosie/Donald mess and the list goes on... All she cares about are ratings and not really informing people. I give credit to Rosie for at least trying to raise awareness about a variety of topics that were not necessarily political.

I don't see Elizabeth and the because I said so that's why opinion, at least not to often. I see it with Joy and for sure Rosie she was terrible. Whoopie has brought a different vibe to the show, it's a different pace and everything. Sheri is silly and plays on all sides of the political views. I am happy with the group of Lady's on right now. I missed the Whoopie telling Elizabeth thing what happened?
What's wrong with having morals? and being idealistic? it does not mean you must live by those rules but if someone does and is a good person trying to living a good honest life by their believes why does it bother you. JMHO

I think that the show is better since Rosie is no longer a part of the panel. I think that the view is better than those the shows that you have listed because I don't watch any of them.
