I can't say I go for the gore, but some of my favorites come along with a certain amount, including these:
Pumpkinhead
Lost Boys
Halloween (original)
The Fog (original)
Fright Night
Fright Night 2 (not as good)
Nightmare on Elm Street
Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors (I think it's the third one.)
Wes Craven's New Nightmare
Shocker (another Wes Craven film with some shocks and lots of gore~and a great Heavy Metal/hard rock soundtrack!)
Suspiria (This is an old one, and it's very gross~a cult classic.)
Darkness Falls (It's not gory, but it has its spooky moments.)
Jeepers Creepers
Jeepers Creepers 2
Nightbreed
Serpent & The Rainbow
the From Dusk to Dawn films

Feast is the one that comes to mind for me.

Also a lot of Texas Chainsaw Massacres.

And then I also like Dead Alive. It's the goriest zombie movie ever made, even though the blood is all pink and frothy and **** like that. But it's good! And funny!

The goriest movie I've ever seen (which isn't that gory) was 300. I'm not a gore/horror movie fan, but I loved 300.
