i recently gor some lights that just came with a red and black wire saying it easy to install but i dont know how (as ive never done something like this ever but i do wanna learn)

so where can i find the power supply

it is very simple. the black wire you buy one of these

then use wire crimpers to put it on the wire. then find a good ground (no paint) use a self tapping screw and screw the connector down.

next is the red wire. you need to buy one of these

its a female wire connector. crimp one of these to your positive wire. now to find a 12 volt source. if your lights come with a on/off switch, then you can use a constant source of power. if not then you must use something that is only on when the car is on. either way go under the hood and there is a big black fuse box next to where you add brake fluid (this is called a brake booster). open the fuse box and pick a fuse that suits your needs. pull that fuse and put this on it

now just connect your female wire connector, with your fale fuse conector and your done.

its really not that hard.

A red and black wire cab be connected to your battery if you just want light. That is the power supply for a car. You need to purchase a book on basic wiring. Your library may have what you need.

Your owners manual will tell you if you have one. Check under the hood for an 'Electrical Center'.
