Hey, I get if if you don't know the definition,but doesn't 'undefinable' mean you think the word has no meaning?

Isn't the prerequsite of philosophy at least an attempt to define the ideas you are exploring?

I agree with you for philosophy must have the joy of understanding. If one could not define what a word is then he has no business in the world of philosophy.

Part of the answer is already there - an attempt to define is a need on expressing thoughts. But the pursuit on keep a philosophical sight demands the attitude on not closing your minds doors. Is this incompatible with getting some definitions? I don't think so.

Philosophy is a shared pursuit of the truth and there is much wisdom in admitting that you don't know.

To say something is undefinable better be backed up.

people who use the word undefinable belong in religion, not philosophy.

undefinable a nice way of saying that you are ignorant of what you cannot define
