I was ironing my shirt just before few minutes and I was really frustrated becasue each time I finish one part, the other part gets messy, so I thought: Am I the only one who have problems with ironing clothes ?

How to iron Shirts:
Start the process by ironing the collar. Stretch the back of it across the flat surface of the board. Run the iron over the back of the collar several times until you are sure it is correctly pressed. Turn the shirt over and handle the front of the collar.

Move to the sleeves of the garment. You need to be sure to iron the back of the sleeves first, then move to the front of the sleeves. Start by stretching the larger part of the sleeves across the point of the ironing board. Iron all the way around the back of the sleeves, then move it toward the sleeve front until you have ironed the circumference of the sleeve. Stretch the lower back of the sleeve across the large, flat surface of the ironing board. Iron toward the cuffs. Flip the shirt over and do the front, making sure to take careful, short strokes.

When you get ready to handle the rest of the shirt, lay it as flat as possible on the ironing board. Work from one side to the other slowly smoothing out the wrinkled spots as you go.

Hang the shirt directly after you finish ironing. Be sure to button the top and center buttons.

good luck!!! =D

I don't know what you are doing but this is what I do. Make sure you use a steam iron set to the proper temperature for the material.

1.. First pull the shoulder area of one side of the shirt over the narrow end of the ironing board, then iron that section only.
2. Do the same thing for the other shoulder.
3. Then with the shirt completely open, starting at either the button side of the shirt or the button hole side of the shirt, iron each section of the shirt. This should keep your shirt from getting "messy".
4. Then laying your shirt on the ironing board, lay out the sleeves and iron them individually.
5. press your collar and then turn your collar about half way down and press again.

Presto you will have a very neatly ironed shirt

I have problems ironing too. One thing I do is mix a little Downy in a bottle of water in a spray bottle and it makes my clothes smell good. That's about the best I can do. Good luck. 2D

You just take up the iron and choose which frabrick you want. Lets say I put the iron on cotton. Then when your finish choosing, just iron your clothes until it is straightend out.

No, I'm clumsy when it comes to ironing. I guess mostly because I hate ironing. So I do as little as possible.=)

Yes. Maybe you should try putting your shirt in a plastic bag and put in the freezer for an hour, then iron it.
