We were organizing a halloween dance. what are some good contest ideas (not costume) or anything lame. and whats a good way to raise money?

If you need to raise money for the dance, consider selling candy, having a bake sale, doing a carwash, yard raking/mowing service. A rummage sale might be good. Get families to donate stuff. Clean out your closets to donate to the rummage sale and it's nothing but profit (plus parents get to clean out their basements of unused stuff).

Maybe a pumpkin "decorating" contest. No carving, just painting or gluing stuff on. Or a "Mummy Wrap-Up" contest- who can wrap up their partner in toilet paper the fastest and the best. Happy Haunting!
