if you go to their website and pre order their album, it doesn't have a set price. I think you can pay 0 - what ever you want.
Do you think it will work for the rest of the industry.

if you buy (or what ever) the album, how much would you pay for it?

I'm not concerned about how you feel about radio head. They've got a following big enough to collect two grammy awards.
I concerned about the consumers choice and the chances of record labels adopting the idea

probally not. But if we are lucky it could cause a few of them to think about their pricing policies. Compared to the cost of reproducing a CD, what they cost is unreasonable. I think five or six dollars plus postage is reasonable if you are getting it direct.

radiohead is....well how do you put this... they kind of lack the potential to change anything but what our view of crappy music consists of.

I know becca s it's like we are trying to take away their only piece of heaven. We are so ripping them off because you know they can only afford the most usless stuff (ie 5 houses totatling 100mil, 2 planes, 10 cars, diamond inlay grill, gold toilets, and the list goes on) Why should i give them money so they can go on living like the immature children they are. The have it so much easier then everyone yet so many waste their time and money on worthless ****. They take everything for granted and are selfish.

im not sure that would work out very well...but, artists these days are so often ripped off thanks to illegal downloads and stuff...i mean, if you really appreciate the artist, why not thank them by paying for the cd? instead ppl wanna say thanks by stealing their songs that they spent time and money on...
so, long story short, i guess i'd pay some $$$ for it--just depends on how much i like the artist...
p.s. radiohead and arcade fire are aMaZiNg!!!
