I was the same way, and it lasted almost 6 months, I was pg with twins.

I hate soda water, but for some reason it was the only thing that seemed to help, and for some crazy reason, around lunch time I would be able to eat 1/2 a tuna melt. Weird I know. I could drink ensure with protein with out to much trouble. Try lemon heads, their a candy, someone told me they were the only thing that would work for them, didn't do much for me.

feel better.

I was having the same problem last week and it is the worst feeling in the world besides being hungry all the time and no matter how much you eat you aren't full--- that one is horrific. But I was forcing myself to eat and it was so terrible. I found that eating a baked potatoe helps alot. I feel so much better and I can eat lol! Try that and see if it helps. Also before, I would eat what I could even if it was just two bites of something. I also tried foods that don't take much time like cereal. I know I ate cereal like 4 days in a row.

Oh yeah, canned fruit helped me out too.

I had the same problem and I got so sick of suggestions like "crackers" or "try small meals". I felt like no one was listening to me when I said the problem was I had no appetite and severe stomach aches, something I felt would not be cured by a ginger snap or two. I finally found an awesome doctor who prescribed medicine and now things are much better.

i had extreme sickness when i was preggo. didnt help any i had twins too. i was so sick i was actually losing weight and knew i needed to do something. finally went to the dr and they put me on medication to help. after a couple of days i could eat. i gained over 20# in 7 days. ( dr yelled at me for that , but he should be glad i couldnt eat the first 4 months or i would have been really fat). there are medications that can help.
as for those who say eat small or eat crackers or toast, have never had BAD morning sickness. the smell of the toaster made me puke as did the sound of a cracker bag. the thought of eating made me nauseous. there are some people that have a bad time of it and there are medications that can help.. talk to your dr if you are concerned.

many americans do not eat RAW sushi, you can still eat the cooked stuff. It is because the meat is as I stated, Raw and raw meats can have more bacteria on them. The cooking process kills the bacteria before we eat it. I refrained from eating all raw sushi, but I did go and eat some of the vegi rolls and cooked sushi but some refuse to even touch that stuff lol like cause it's in the same vicinity it must be contaminated as well. Then you could go to an asian country and they eat loads of the raw stuff and have no problems.

I had really bad sickness too, ended up losing weight, but i am 37 wks pregnant now. I found that not letting myself get hungrey helped a lot. I also ate alot of quaker rice cakes they were light enough on my stomach, so it didn't upset it as much. I also heard that eating a spoonful of peanut butter will help settle your stomach. Anyway good luck, hope it passes soon!

Saccharum / Mel Comp is a Welida product. It is something you start taking and takes a while (3-4 days) to build up and it helps keep the nausea at bay. For me it was the only thing that worked.

I had the same problems. Please be sure you are under a dr's care in case you are getting too dehydrated.

I had to be put into the hospital and put on IV for over 3 weeks while they put meds into me to try to get me to the point where I could eat even a little bit.

If you crave ANYTHING eat it. Usually that's what you will keep down better then anything else.

Oh, you poor thing ! I've had the same. I ate a lot of tomato on toast with a bit of salt and tried to avoid anything really greasy. I also drank heaps of soda water which seemed to ease the nausea. Salty pretzels seemed to work, too. Hope it passes soon.
