I'm assuming that you mean a freshman in high school, no? Well, as a teacher, I think you should go where you can be the most successful. With that, there are a lot of clubs, sports, and other activities at high school that college doesn't necessarily have or would even appeal to you.

But, one way to have the best of both worlds is to go to high school and take evening classes at your local community college.

??? Why would it be wrong? Do you mean a college freshman or high school freshman? If you graduated from H.S. and put in the effort then you've earned the right to move up a grade level. I don't see anything wrong about that.

Collage? A college freshman is, by definition, a first year college student.
