Anyone want to bet a million that this is all a kayfabe hype for No Mercy. It's on WWE.com, which is all kayfabe! They said Orton wouldn't be at RAW 2 nights ago and he was. They're probably doing the same with Cena.......he'll break docters orders or something. Also why didn't he stop the match when he FIRST got injured? Instead of going a FULL match like that.

I believe CM Punk continued a match with a very badly injured skull or neck or something that could have ended up killing him if he wrestled for a few minutes longer. People often gut out their injuries, because injuries happen so much in this business.
Also, no way would they lie about Cena being out for 6-8 months. It'd be something shorter that'd actually be believeable to come back from.

You're the example of someone taking kayfabe too seriously. He's hurt, if you go back to the footage on RAW, it's pretty clear he's not able to even lock in the STFU all the way in. He's already stripped of the title, there's no way it can be kayfabe in thay way.

Alot of wrestlers do wrestle injuried it has happen before, and how many people have been suspended and show up on raw or smackdown before alot of them. Just because they are suspended don't mean they aint showing up. Oh yea, the title is no longer around John Cena's waist so that means someone new is going to be the champ.

um no when wwe shows surgery photos its usually not bs
plus it was his right pectorial and if you tear that and still finish up a match but if you do you run the risk to tear it more
how ever there could of been a problem in his pec months before so they thought of a storyline in which he faked he hurt it in the match but hurt it doing something else
like lashley had a sholder prob and eventually faked he hurt in in a match

Did you see the surgery photos? Look at poor Cena's face in like the first 2 I think. He looks miserable! I've never seen that face for him before.
