If this is for a speech, then some black humour usually goes down ok, especially if it takes a sideswipe at the serious aspects of the point you really want to make. Everyone appreciates someone not taking themselves too seriously, and it also short-circuits the hecklers.

So initially I would suggest that having killed all the whales, you sell the carcasses to the Japanese and Norwegians, or turn them into dog food. After all, this is what their bodies are currently sought for!

With the whales gone, time to turn to whale sharks, elephants, rhinos, hippos etc. Soon we are exterminating horses and cattle.

Unfortunately for the followers of this "largest first" easy harvesting, it happens that human beings come surprisingly close to the top in this "death by body mass" hierarchy.

With a little thought and planning beforehand, this method of presentation would soon be devoid of laughter.

they cut their blubber up and us it for oil, they use their skin for leather stuff and they use their meat for food i think. They also die out because people are killing them and it is so mean you can find out stuff anywhere in books about whaling it is amazing what people can do to these poor mammals.
