He is not even cute, his face is too dry(slant little eyes, thin and flat lips, huge forehead and jowl). If he is an actor he should look nice, unique...not that fat and greasy. He is not a nice person, he is sick of himself, so cocksure. Just read it :“I guess I just thought, I’ve seen it done enough,” he says of directing. “I’ve been on sets enough. I’m a writer. An amateur photographer. An actor.” This what he said on his last "Details" interview.
Also he does not act at all, he is just walking here and there on the screen, all his roles look the same. And as a writer he has no imagination, all his scenarios are about Boston, Matt Damon, "Dunkin' Donuts"(place they liked to go), Baseball(his favorite game). He is just describing his own life. He cannot live without compliments, all he does is for that. Sylvester Stallone was working at gym for 8 hours per day. And there are a lot of actors like that. Affleck does nothing. So why do you all like him so much?

Most writers use their personal experiences as a basis for material. You write what you know.

As far as his acting goes- well, all actors have a few turkeys. See Hollywoodland, he was quite good in that film, in my opinion.

Who's this "you all" you speak of? I don't know if I've ever even seen a Ben Affleck film. Yeah, he's just that memorable.

I certainly don't keep up with his career or personal life to the extent that you do. I just avoid going to movies I'm pretty sure I won't like.

And that's most of them these days.

Is this a rant disguised as a question?

The man works. What is your problem with him? Did he beat you out of a role?

I am scenting the distinct odor of Sour Grapes.

I don't like the toothy creep. I understand that he performs an un-natural act for every director/producer in order to get the part. How else could you explain it?

Not jealous are we? Doesn't matter what you or I think. It only matters if people buy tickets to his films. It is a business and money is king, and you are unemployed.
