A few ideas:

Pupils with different skill levels, so that some need to be taught basic skills whilst others can use them independently.

Rapidly changing technology.

Changing use of the Internet.

Varying levels of access to ICT at home.

Pupils who only see computers as "games machines" and are not willing to apply themselves to curriculum uses.

Equipment available in school - policies for updating, etc.

Parents' attitudes to ICT and their expectations of what their children should be doing which is rarely the same as the curriculum.

Mis-match between curriculum and skills needed for employment.

You need to remember that this age group where born with computers. Many of them will find a computer simply an extension of themselves. There will also in every class be a show off, know it all who has found their way around the schools Internet filter and is accessing the more lurid side of the Internet

The same challenges that faces every teacher of students that age. Accept that some of the students that know more than you. Show them what you know. Learn from your students.
