people who have money, id have to say it would make me pretty happy, I'm not saying it solves all problems, but it sure would lighten the load, put this way, I'm sure there are a lot of people who do have money that are happy, we just get to see the idiot's who have it and would probably be screwed up with or without it, same with some of the poor some are happy and I'm sure some are depressed as hell

Money can buy a certain level of "happiness." The best optimism is to know that you are pleasing in God's eyes. Otherwise, you and I and everyone is "out of commission." What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, WHO can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

Yes, it's true. Money can buy comfort and pleasure but not happiness. An evil person can have comfort and pleasure but not happiness.
That said, a good character by itself won't bring happiness. You do need at least enough money to get by.

Well, many people have said it. But it comes from the idea that true happiness isn't achieved by material things. Everything you have ever owned or will ever own will become boring to you at some point or another. It's family, friends and life's experiences that bring you true happiness. Sure, people with more money can have those experiences on massive yachts, or amazing vacations to foreign places, but what really matters is that you are experiencing your life with the people who you love and cherish. Yes, sappy... but I find it to be true.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but if you can pay the bills without problem, and have a decent lifestyle, it makes life less of a burden. As well, it gives satisfaction if you can help a charity or local cause.

If you are in debt broke or dirt poor hungry then money will make you more happy.. Its all relative... I only make $30k a year, rent an apt,car paid for, live in town, walk to work etc.. have absolutely no debt, can save half my income, eat well (home mostly), have decent furniture, computer, tv, can read, paint, play music, only work 35 hrs a week. no kids! I am free....in nirvana compared to someone I know who makes $300k a year, 2 bmw, big house, 2 brats, lotsa debts, poser trophy wife (pretentious), he works 60hrs a week.. always stressed and ready to jump...
Come on people...Dont miss the point! Rich people are not happier then average people who live simply within their means!!!

I don't think money, by itself, can buy happiness. Happiness is something that you have to cultivate from within yourself. It's something that you either find about yourself, or you never do and you're unhappy whether you have money or not.

OTOH, as my wise of Grandfather used to say: "Money won't buy you happiness, but it -will- let you look for it in a helluva lot more places."

Money buys things, not feelings. If you enjoy the things that your money buys, then your happy. But, you can be happy with things that you don't buy.
Any you can also be miserable even if you have everything that money can buy. It's up to you to be happy or sad.
Money does not buy my mood, it just buys me things.

Money buys happiness especially we are living in this material world we are into. No question on that for man cannot enjoy life without money. You will be paralyzed if you don't have money. This is the practical answer to your question.
