When I watch cooking shows, I do it more for relaxation than information. So I like relaxing cooks. That leaves Emeril and Rachel out of the running.
Of the ones listed, I think I like Giada the best. I don't always like her recipes but I've tried a few which weren't bad. And the sounds of her show lull me right to sleep. Paula is good for the same reasons, and even Alton isn't bad.
I've never watched Bobby.

I like Alton because he's bright, and I respect Flay but he annoys the hell out of me. My fave is Anthony Bourdain, Travel channel. He is an amazing writer and quite bright, classically trained, he's a big stud.
