You people have to put that Bartman s*** to rest.
That ball was in foul territory, and Moises Alou
over-reacted on the play. Besides it was the
ground ball that Alex Gonzalez booted for an error
that opened the flood gates for the Marlins.
If Gonzalez makes the play, the Cubs get out of
the 8th leading 3-2. And don't say it was a bad
hop, for it wasn't. My brother works as a seasonal
worker for the Cubs, and he said that they picked
up all the dirt pebbles before the game, and the
infield was really smooth that night. Gonzalez
booted an easy double play ball, and it cost the
Cubs. It was a tailor made two. It's unfortunate
that Bartman has to pay for Gonzalez' screw up.....

Tho not a Cub fan per se, i'm sure that he's somewhere safe watching the game away from all the idiot Cub fans, of which there are many.

Lay off the dude, any other person would have done the same thing. Notice all the fans around him going for the ball? He is just the unfortunate guy who got it.
