The facts about what Rush actually said and the context in which he said it are irrefutable. It is a national embarrassment to see elected officials participating in a provable lie to political ends to strike out at a private citizen for something he did not say. I believe Mr. Reid will finally end up roommates with Tom Daschle over this display. Senator Harkin as well.
It's one thing to not like or even outright hate Rush Limbaugh...but to suggest he disrespected soldiers does not pass the smell test. He has a twenty year record of unimpeachable support of our armed forces. Harry Reid's accusation will eventually be his undoing.

Harry Reid looks to continually be mendacity approximately undesirable previous Rush. If he did, Rush could desire to sue him for libel. relatively, Rush will call him a liar. It is going decrease backward and forward like that between those so-stated as liberals and so-stated as conservatives. they're all blowing warm air and that's what's inflicting worldwide warming.

Rush didn't insult the troops. Democrats never apologize. This whole episode has probably brought Rush a lot of new listeners.

Harry should leave this country and never comeback. He is the poorest example of U.S. citizenship there is,let alone him being a senator. To have him pointing a finger at anyone is so outrageous. If I were him or any of his co -horts I wouldn't get to close to the returning Heroes we have fighting for us.He may not like what they would do to him, many believe he is the Phony senator and a disgrace to the many Veterans in our country. He and the lefts motive is plain to see and will only work to lower the already lowest approval rating for the Democrats in History.

Rush is a draft dodger who used a cyst on his butt to be classified as 4F. He has no standing calling anyone a "phony soldier". He was probably so loaded on oxy contin that he doesn't remember calling current members (plural) of the Army Rangers in Iraq, phony soldiers before anyone even heard of this Macbeth guy.

Yes, and he should RESIGN for saying the war is lost.
Americans don't pull stunts like that when we're at war. And certainly not our elected officials.
At least we didn't used to.

No, I'm sure they all enjoyed the joke as much as he did. There's not a one of them that Rush hasn't done exactly the same thing to at some point. Even Rush reaps what he sews. But they've already spent too much time on this, and they've obviously got more important things to do. What's the big deal?

So, what else is new? Dem's always take GOP's out of context to smear them, just like they flip flop on their opinions with whats popular, not what's factual.
Same old story :-(

For one to lie they have to knowing reject the truth. Luberals do not beleive in truth so he cant lie.
But he can attack Bush for lieing because Bush beleives in truth. Even though he did not reject it. He is criticized for lieing.

Beardog, what is wrong with you, Reid is a senator not a talk radio host. Stop being a hypocrat
I just re-read the responses. The Liberals think it is OK for a senator to attack a talk radio host because he is republican. That is hillarious.
What is more funny is they are the ones who claim to be about freedom of speech and tollerence.
