Who has the most beautiful landmarks in the world? Is it the USA. I mean, we have tons of bridges (GG in Frisco), beautiful skylines (NY), Grand Canyon,Mt Rushmore, half of Niagra falls, historic stadiums (Cubs, Yankees), two different coastlines (Pacific and Atlantic), lots of wilderness (like Alaska).

What does any other country have on us?

P.S. Sorry if I can't hide my bias.

I have traveled in Europe extensively and must say that they have some magnificent sights. But I think a lot of that is due to the length of history they have behind them. The US is a relatively young country and considering that most of Europe has been around for a long time, the US holds her own. If a person never ventures out of our countries borders, they will have a lifetime of exploring to do and STILL never see all that this great country has to offer.

Well, to me there is a difference between manmade landmarks and just a beautiful landscape. Europe does have some beautiful old villages and places, but as far as diversity goes, North America has it all, which most other countries can't claim the variety in landscape that we have here. It makes you want to get out and travel and explore this great country more. From the Sequoias to the Florida Keys, there's something for everyone in the U.S. I totally agree with you.

All countries have something to offer or it would not be a world, it would just be the us. I do believe the grand canyon is beautiful and the black hills, the grand tetons. niagara falls, the auroras in alaska, and on and on, other parts of the world have great landmarks too. the taj mahal, eiffel tower, some of the nicest waterfalls are in africa. diversity is a beautiful thing in everything.

Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Once you've see places like Notre Dam, Eiffel Tower, pyramids in Egypt, and even Ludwig's Castle in Germany- the model for Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty castle (http://www.harcourtschool.com/activity/wrldlmarks/germany.html) you begin to see that their is beauty everywhere. It's about impossible to say WHO has the best!

Rio is the most beautiful city I've been to in terms of natural beauty (beaches, hills, the ocean, a bay), and supposedly Cape Town's even more beautiful. I like Amsterdam's architecture, and the palace in Bangkok is amazing especially at night. Then there are the pyramids in cairo, istanbul's also a beautiful city. I could go on and on, but there are plenty of beautiful places out there.

Every country has beautiful landmarks - the US is simply better advertised.
China has more beautiful landmarks than you could imagine.
New Zealand has some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Italy....there is so much it is impossible to see it all.

That would be a tough series, Ming should score easily but Bosh would as well, Lebron probably gives the US an edge at forward. Bryant is much better than Ginoblli, but he is still Kobe and that hurts, Nash better than Kidd but Kidd could play him tough and physical guards who can stay with him give him trouble especially late in games after hes taken a beating. US should come up with a Superior bench and Wade gives the US team the advantage. I would expect tough, close games with the US team winning a seven game series.
