We just found out that we are having a little boy.
Although it was very easy for us to pick out a girl name... boy names have been a challenge.

We've come up with Carter Gray as the only name we can agree on :)
I wasn't sure about it at first... I thought it seemed a little too much like the lead star of my mother's soap opera. But it's growing on me.

What do you think?

I LOVE Grayson.

But My EVIL brother's name is Jason... and it would always bug me.

And the last name is very Italian. like... think Soprano. So I wanted to go with a nice Italian name... but my fiance was actually adopted by his step father. We are both near full irish. I didnt want the name Carmine attached to this red headed freckle faced kid :)

I think it's a great modern name! Very trendy without being too popular. I love the name Carter, and Gray is a very beautiful middle name. The name is attractive to the ear, but it is still strong!

Good choice! I love it!

I agree that it may sound a little 'soap opera' ish, but that is one of the trends right now! Compared to the Jax, Chase, Dylan and Logans in his class, his name will sound pretty timeless actually! :)
He'll fit in, but he'll still have a great name

Hi I like Carter but I am not sure I like it with Gray. The only reason is because Carter reminds me of the baby clothes brand and then using the name Gray makes me think you are describing clothing. Sorry, that is the first thing that came to my mind.

I like Carter, but not Gray, although as a middle name it isn't too horrible.

How about Carter Matthew? It's less soapy, at least.

I think you have to place it with the last name...
Carter _________
Drop the middle when you say and write it, just for determination purposes...because once in school, no one is going to be saying CARTER GRAY THOMAS, ...know what I mean...they will say CARTER THOMAS
