a couple weeks after my "mom" (grandma) passed away. By then, my daughter was already 18. Is that weird?

I wouldn't say it's weird,
just because it's "different".
Situations like these,
are "special".

I come from a "special situation".
My Mother died during child birth with me.
My Father was an alcoholic and couldn't take care of us kids.
My Grandmother raised my brothers,
but couldn't raise me because she worked.
My Aunt & Uncle (my Father's sister & her husband) raised me.
We're still a close knit family,
but some people would say a "messed" up family.
But no matter what,
we're a "happy" family now ;)

No, my dear, nothing is weird. At least now you know who your birth mother is and hopefully you can start to build a new relationship with her. I am a birth mother too, I met my son for the first time when he was 34 years old. You can never get back the years lost in between but you have been blessed and given another chance for a new beginning.

Maybe not weird but not right sounds like it..

I found out my mom had been hiding a huge lie to me for years and when a friend decided to let this little detail slip, well she (mom) ruined my life for a long time after that. I can't talk to her any more b/c of the scandalous bs she put me through. ~sounds a little selfish on my part but then again maybe not

It's just crazy what people can really get away with. xXo

This was like a movie I watched not long ago and it had a
happy ending.
Best Wishes and Blessings.
