I need to know what i need to change because i am typing an essay and the grammer checker will not check these things.
Their legs looked like fish.

The plants looked like brains and there were no flowers at all in this community.

There were trees in this "dome".

Word - They're
Meaning - Short for "they are"
Example - They're using bad form.

Word - Their
Meaning - Possessive version of "they"
Example - I want to ride in their car.

Word - There
Meaning - Indication of location
Example - I am going over there
And thos sentences do have the correct there.

Just a thought: some teachers might not like it if you begin a sentence with the word "there", as in, "There were trees in this dome." It's one of those unwritten grammar rules. Good luck.

their is the possessive form.
there refers to a place.
