get so many serious responses?
Is it because they are disguised?

I hope they think my questions are silly. That is the way I intend them most of the time.

Sometimes people try so darned hard to be silly that the question loses its "silliness", and the only way to respond is with a serious answer.
And, sometimes people aren't nearly as funny/silly as they think they are.
