These are some of Cuba's major historical sites:

Castillo de la Punta - a Spanish fort built in 1589. Old Havana.
Cathedral of Havana - built by the Jesuits in 1748, this beautiful church is Cuba's most famous. Plaza de la Catedral, Old Havana.
José Martí Birthplace - the house of Cuba's national hero. Calle Leon Peréz, Old Havana.
Parochial Church of the Holy Spirit - the oldest church in Havana, built in 1638. Jesús María, Old Havana.
El Floridita - a bar made famous by novels of Ernest Hemingway. Plazuela de Albear, Old Havana.
The Tropicana - a world famous nightclub from 1939. Calle 72 and 41. Havana.
Cuevas del Indio - large cave where Indian bones were found. Near Cuevas del Vinales, Vinales.
Playa Girón - site of the Bay of Pigs invasion. In Matanzas Province.
Moncada Army Barracks - the site of Fidel's first attack on Batista. Calle Carlos Aponte, Santiago de Cuba.
Morro Castle - a huge Spanish castle dating to 1640. Santiago de Cuba.
The Castle - built to fight the British in the 1730s. Baracoa.

1.- The Lighthouse in Havana
2.- The Cathedral Square in Old Havana
3.- The Revolution Square in Havana
4.- Old Havana in general with all its museums.
5.- The Revolution Museum.
