I think the books from white wolf publishing are horrible, but you might like them.
Same with the Danilov series (they read more like romance novels than vampire novels). I dislike these books but it sounds as if they are right up your alley.
So far the only consistently good vampire books I've read have been the Anne Rice Books (although the last one sucked). If you want to expand your horizons, Rice's witch series are even better.
Lastly, there is the book titled "states of grace", by Chelsea Yarbro - however there is very little in the way of vampire lore (it reads more like a story of a count who happens to be a vampire, rather than a vampire who happens to be a count, if you get my meaning).
