This is the first I'm ever hearing about purple pumpkins..Are they grown that color or are the pumpkins dyed purple? This is why i love questions and answers i learn so much from you guys! Please email me when you get the info your looking for i am so interested in this.

if u would like to find out about purple pumpkins, just go to google and type in "purple pumpkins" and if u want something specific type that too with purple pumpkins. its all in google.

Well I'm not much help.They are hard to find. However there is a recipe at www.tomknight.com/pie.html It looks really good and you can use regular orange pumpkins.
