Well I was having a discussion the other day and I asked why there were TNA commercials during WWE shows, ex. Raw, ECW; i saw a commercial for TNA during both of them this week. Anyways, some one brought up the possibility of Vince Mcmahon and the WWE having a silent partnership with TNA that we don't know about..this could explain a lot of things.

Do you think this is possible? What are your thoughts?

i'm not just saying this because of those commercials, but in general, is it possible?

Sure...very possible.
Vince is a world class master of nefarious insidious plots.
He had a silent partnership with Paul Heyman and ECW for years before they went under.
And I, for one, am almost firmly convinced that the entire Hogan, Hall & Nash, NWO, Vince Russso thing was all part of one giant plan to destroy WCW. So Vince having a silent partnership with TNA wouldn't shock Me one iota.
Here is the thing about Vince though, he's diabolically clever.
Like a Sith Lord like myself or Darth Sidious.
Once He gets a foot in the door, He will spread and devour like cancer, until nothing remains but ruins and dust of what was once a glittering empire.
So I'd be careful dealing with old Mephistopheles McMahon if I was Jarrett, He's liable to regret it.

Yes and no.

Yes, it's possible, anything is and business is business. It's all about the $.

No, it's not probable. Jeff Jarrett helped start TNA for the simple reason to be an alternative to WWE. I just can't see that happening in the near future.

As far as ads go, it's not strange for competitors to go for the opposition's market to get money. For example, I see ads for UFC during TNA. But that's because Spike airs both shows, and are trying to get fans of one to watch the other.

Like I said, It's all about the money.

I'd say not even a little bit. WWE gets little to no say in what commercials air during their programs. TNA could simply be trying to play it smart and still some of their fans.
Quite honestly, I think it's a stupid plan because TNA isn't even on it's feet yet, not to mention it's in a bit of a spot (ratings, franchise, money etc), so no way in hell is it actually ready to go against WWE.

It would be great for the wrestling business. If someone can explain why WWE is any better than TNA is beyond me. Aj Styles vs Christopher Daniels vs Samoa Joe at Unbreakable 2005 was better than any WWE PPV match in the last 5 years! Prove me wrong on that.

The WWE has little say over who advertises during their programs.

TNA is simply being smart and advrtising wrestling to a wrestling audience.
