I love Devon and Dalton, and can definitely appreciate Donald and Damon. Derek I've just never cared for (bad personal associations, all LOL).
You might also like Declan, Donovan, Desmond, Dorian or Duncan, by the way. Lots of Ds for you. ;)
Edited to add: Per some above comments to the contrary, Devon -- the place -- was named for a people, not vice versa. LOL Also, it can serve as an Anglicization of Damhán and Dubhán (both old Gaelic names ... again, of people LOL). Likewise, Damon is a historical Greek name of legend (check out this link ... great story! http://www.behindthename.com/name/damon ), and Dalton has long been used as BOTH a surname and given name. In fact, it's been among the SSA's most popular names list nearly every year from 1881 to today! It also happens to have been my grandfather's middle name ... can't say it's not "real." LOL

I like Devon and Dalton the best. All are good names for a boy, though.

They are all nice. I am partial to Donald as that was my grandfather's name and my sister is Dawn, named after him.
Pick the name that has the best meaning for you. and for what you want your child to stand for. Like Bill Cosby named all his children with E for excellence. Donald means proud chief, world ruler in Celtic. Damon means constant in Greek. You can go to Babycenter.com to look up names.
