Daphne is the only good one. The rest are trying way too hard to be "kreatyv," and just get off the bus at "stupid."

Stevie is a decent nickname for Stephanie (see: Stevie Nicks), but it's not a full name for a male OR female.

Marilee - no, because it just looks like a misspelling of the actual word "merrily" (life is but a dream, and all LOL). I do like plenty of similar names, however, including simply Mary. ;)

Daphne - yes. Love it. Classic and spunky on a woman, adorable on a little girl. ;)

Ashlyn - yes and no. With this spelling, I'll admit it just runs together with all the little Ashleys and Ashtons out there. The original Aisling or Aislinn, however, are intriguing, and I've always loved the great story behind them. ;) Here's a link! http://www.babynamesofireland.com/pages/girl-names-a-c.html

Stevie - NO. Because it's a common masculine nickname. LOL

Demetra - yes. Though I prefer the slightly-more-familiar Demetria.

I like Ashlyn the most out of those. I also like (for a girl):
Bianca
Petra
Danica
Madison (although too common)
:) Good Luck

i like ashlyn it's different and not too common, marilee isn't too bad either.

not too keen on daphne it always sounds like an adult name to me i know that sounds stupid as you have to be a baby before you get to be an adult but i just find it strange to call a baby daphne kinda like saying aww isn'tethel the cutest baby, it's just an adult name, plus i think daphne is always at risk of being turned into daffy and being bullied. i dunno maybe it's just me.

stevie - i like just coz it makes me think of stevie nicks and she rocks :)

demetra - i dunno it makes me think of sugar. sorry.

but as i've said in some other answers it's your choice no one elses it's your child :) i'me sur ewhatever you decide the baby will suit it :)
