The 7 Deadly Sins are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride. How would one dress for this party?

With Halloween coming you should be able to find some sort of food costume... gluttony.
Or you could dye your hair green, use green costume make up, and wear green clothes. If any one asks, you're green with envy.

i cant think of any. did you know that the seven deadly sins were not written back when "jesus" existed. nor was it a calling from god to add it into the bible. the 7 deadly sins were completely man made and were designed to keep a community of people in line so that there would be less crime and more organization. ooo and sloth is not only laziness...sloth is also complete depression that causes one to loath. the reason they made this was bc back then...if a single person didnt work it could throw off an entire family or more. everyone needed to put in their part. and "sloth" was unacceptable. ive also done reasearch on the sins...its very interesting. even though i am not religious and do not believe most of what religion preaches. ;-) man made. not god inspired. end of story.

Gluttony: you can put on a "fat suit" they have them at halloween stores
Greed: A suit and a bunch of fake money and jewelry and say mine! mine! mine!
Sloth: Pajamas, your hair all messed up, maybe food stains on your shirt, shoes untied
Wrath: Extreme eyebrows come to mind
Envy: I don't know how that can be a costume
Pride: Huge smirk, umm that's more of how you would act...giving people demeaning looks and stuff

Don't do anything, goes as yourself. Everything you mentioned is who we are as humans. The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". We are all sinners,we're born that way, and as humans we all whether we want to believe it or not, possess within us the 7 deadly sins. When we ask Christ to save us and forgive us our sins, we become new creatures in him. Therefore we should not let ourselves fall into the trap of the 7 deadly sins anymore, but we are still human, and we're going to fail from time to time. So go as you are, you have your costume on.

You could dress really, filthy rich & get tons jewels & gold etc at a costume party store & then rent a Bently, (if you don't already own one) & act supe snobby...That actuall sounds like a really good idea for theme party!! Have fun I would actually be interested in knowing how you actually end up dressing... :)
