Oh what to be for Halloween
so much before my eyes.
Although the aisle is crowded
there’s worse to my demise....

All the good stuff’s to high up
and unorganized indeed
Little kids with sticky hands
all crying aimlessly!

Just a suit is all I want
and maybe some false teeth
But, I can’t get through the shopping carts
even when asking please!

Ha, I found some makeup
just lying in the aisle
if I just get hold of it
I’d go as kiss when high!

Crap, some fat woman stepped on it
and she’s tracking all around!
Little Jimmy spilt his candy corn
and I’m blocked from getting out!

Decisions, decisions
Oh, what to be for Halloween?
I think this year, I’ll stay inside
and forget the whole damned thing!

Ah Zellers...a fine Canadian institution. Don't you just love it? They've got everything from A to Z right? That's Zed not Zee the American way. One of my Canadian friends was baffled by something labeled as being EZ meaning easy. He said "E-Zed? What the heck is that supposed to mean?!?" So I had to tell him that us silly Yanks down south of the border say Zee not Zed for the last letter of the alphabet. That was back in the good old days when I was unintentionally an illegal alien in Canada for about a couple of months. ::sigh::

Now I'm back home south of the border, and let me say we should not forget Ames here in New England. WalMart killed them. Will Zellers end up being eaten alive by WallyWorld? Who can say? Just don't say Zee in Zellers.

And what about those baddies at Sears who axed not only Roebuck in the USA but also Simpson in Canda from their name?!? I think Simpson is at the bottom of the Bay but who knows about poor Roebuck.

BTW...fun poem.

Well, being from allegedly beautiful British Columbia, I have less experience with nefarious Wal-mart than with zany Zellers and (many years ago) krazy K-mart.

These three stores are of a kind, little or no service with stuff blocking the aisle; cheap and cheap indeed until you consider the wages of the kids making the stuff that enable the store's dirty deed(s). Do you think that ACDC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" is an appropriate theme song for such a store?!

The sad thing is that more expensive stores like Sears and the Bay also have poor service like Wal-mart and Zellers.

I dont celebrate hallows eve but I can tell you when I went to Wal Mart just last summer for school supplies it was not a pretty sight I couldn't look comfortably because of all the people. I dont like to hurry when I shop. I like to take my time. Its hard when someone is shoving to get past you.
Anyway that was a nice and funny poem. Keep Writting its a good way to vent feelings and emotions.

I like this poem
again it talks about
Halloween.
It won't be long before
those kids come around
This can be stressful as in
what to get for them this year
as well as costumes to get for
the kids.
I will be handing out candies to them
again.
Oh well wait until Christmas which is stressful.
