His very first veto was for stem cell research that could've helped a 9 yr old girl with Leukemia because he cares more about a microscopic bundle of cells. His latest veto is for expanding healthcare to cover more uninsured children in this country because 'it's too expensive'. Yet he wastes billions of dollars looking for imaginary WMD's in far away countries and lets all his buddies in Congress pass as much pork and graft as possible. He spends our money like a maniac, yet the only time he's fiscally conservative is when it might actually help the average family.

It merely shows where his and the Republican party's priorities are.

Typically, you grossly misrepresent the facts. Stem cells can come from a multitude of sources. The only one he's objected to thus far is Embrionic. As for his vetoing of the healthcare, the dem.s were stupid enough to believe that they could make him look bad by doing EXACTLY what he told them not to do -- coat tail military garbage legislation that would not stand on its own. He forwarned them that if they did this, he would veto the bill. Perhaps your "Average family" should get off its dead hind end, take seriously the "Free" education already provided and then get a better paying job instead of looking for more "Free" government hand outs. Here's a clue: You don't fix money problems by throwing more money at it.
WMD? Perhaps you too could benefit from studying (history). Reagan sold WMD technology and neither Clinton nor the U.N. were truly interested in upholding the cease fire agreement that ended the first gulf war (AKA Desert Storm). Your lies don't fool anyone but the foolish and gulible.

Perhaps you don’t know that so far it has been NO cures, no medical advances or even promising discoveries with the stem cell research. However there is much progress and even cures that have done with adult cells. But then, why would you be interested in reality.
As far as the uninsured, are you aware that he vetoed a bill that included children to be cover to age 25? I guess not.

Actually insurance companies have "clauses" about some treatments that is why that little girl was not able to get treatment. Which is wrong if you ask me.

All children should have health care, some people can only afford health care for themselves and not their dependents because it would take too much out of their pay check.

We have the insurance companies and insurance lobbyist who actually profit from health care to thank for.

Just think how much the insurance companies contributed to campaigns vs the average American......

Only a few of us in the world actually truely UNDERSTAND and BELIEVE that the United States and the rest of the developed world are being controlled by very powerful and very rich people.

AND THEREFORE, every single decision that George Bush makes is to maintain the Status Quo for these very rich and powerful people.

IF we could see all the TRUTH behind all the deception and bulls h**t lies, All the Vetos and the decisions of Bush would make total sense and we would see how much money he is receiving in private and how much wealth he is creating for the true power brokers in this world.

You and I are seen as workers, robots, slaves, hired-help, and so on for the true power brokers in this world.
If you are not one of them, and you happen to make a lot of money at your job and you have a nice house and live a good life, one day, you will see that you are still just one of us.

1. He did not stop stem cell research he just stopped government from funding it. Research is going on and guess what nothing has been found yet.

2. He is funding child health care. but a 25 year old is not a child and can pay for himself. This bill would make him able to get government to pay for his medical care. This bill was created so that democrats had something to beat the republicans about for next years elections is a political stunt.

I would have vetoed that bill. There is absolutely no reason (other than their desire to make political points with the uneducated masses who vote Democrat) why a compromise cannot be worked out. Go do some minimal research and post a question that acknowledges the flaws in the bill and acknowledges the need to address them rather than presenting a superficial and inane question that any 3rd grade student could compose.

He, vetoed that bill because at the time he understood the stem cells to come from a living fetus and this latest because it is going to cost the American People alot of money. Obviously you libs don't pay that much attention or you'd know that your people are trying to pass a law that we pay for the war they want it taken in thirds but each third comes from the taxpayer what about that huh I don't hear any of you whining about that.

It's political posturing. Bush has never vetoed a single spending bill until now. He says it's because it's socialized medecine, which it is, and which I have no problem with. But the real reason is becasue he is trying to use it as an example of of the "tax and spend Democrats"when it is he who has exhausted the coffers on Iraq and Afghanistan.

Your first line.... PROBABLY. There has been NO proof that stem cells CAN help.
Your second argument is for the ADULT children that live with their children. Who is going to pay for ANOTHER social health care plan that moves to more SOCIALIZED health care? The taxpayers: Me, you and everyone you know. I will pay for MY children's health care with help of my employer. I do not want the government to do it for me, they already can't do anything right. I am an average family man,my wife and I take care of ourselves.
