Just yesterday ... I have been cleaning out my attics/closet/home .. and getting ready to put my HOME on the Market .. so have been going through boxes.
UNFORTUNATELY .. the latest box that I opened was the one that had the Police Report, the Medical Reports and the Cards I got when I filed against my (now) Ex-Spouse for Assault on me/the children .. the photos of the car with the windows punched out, the shattered glass covering the driver's and childrens' safety seats, the Photos of the Bruises .. the Door that was bent and damaged, and yes, the medical reports on the injuries (and my testimony) were there ...
ALONG with Cards from others who were basically very HAPPY that I not only LIVED, but Got to SAFETY ... (and I did this with my two disabled Toddlers). Brought up a very bad, bad, horrible memory .. and I've had some flashbacks and nightmares come back once again.

No. But I am pretty sure my older brother did once, I sent it to him. On our b'days, we are 6 days apart in March we would send each other gag gifts, puzzles and stuff with pieces missing and such. He is fairly well off, while I am mostly poor. On his b'day, which is before mine, I wanted to get him something that expressed exactly what I thought of his money. I was in Hallmark one day and saw a sign that said 'a gift for some one who has everything', what it was was a cigar box that had little writings all over the outside, sides, top, bottom saying this box contained nothing, zilch, zip, nada, zero, zed, etc. and when you opened it up their was a tiny piece of paper that said 'this box has been inspected by nobody'. He hated(not really)me for that one. You'll have to email me to find out what he gave me 6 days later for my b'day.

Only that time I opened that antique puzzle-box, and opened a portal to some sort of Hell dimension, unleashing Pinhead and the other Cenobite demons who inflict pleasure and pain on all who open the box. Actually, hold on, I'm confusing my own life experience with the movie Hellraiser!
