Mister Limbaugh was determined to be physically disqualfied for induction into the armed forces because of the presence of an anal fistula. A fairly common condition among men who were subject to induction before introduction of the all-volunteer force.

He never served - the army didn't want him (failed draft physical).
In 1992 and 1996, we were told military service wasn't necessary.
In 2000, it wasn't an issue.
In 2004, we were told that the type of military service was what was important.
Can't we all just make up our minds?
