I'm not half Puerto-Rican.
I don't get why it would not be politically correct for your to call yourself Puerto-Rican if that is indeed what you are.
Ethnicity is a state of mind, it is a culture that you feel. I am half white and half Mexican. I was raised in a very Mexican culture and therefore call myself Mexican. It is not that I am denying my white race because Mexican, Puerto RIcan and all most other HIspanic ethnicities are still considered White in race. SInce there are so few races it is easier and more precise to classify yourself as part of an ethnic group.

Why do you shrink your voice with PC?How can anyone be embarassed about being an American?
Without America, you'd be a copy of Cuba.

Whichever culture you feel closest to. There's nothing politically correct for you to say about your heritage.
