my son is about 3 1/2 months and he is showing all the signs of teething--- chewing his hands, chewing on the bottle nipple, irrability, drooling, and the biggest one: swollen red gums on the bottom.
so my question, i read that you should give them a frozen washcloth and i have a question. should i wet it before it goes in the freezer?
i am a first time mommy so any advice about teething would be great... thanks!

Yes get it wet first! It wont freeze very well if you don't.All 3 of my kids used them when they were teething and it worked great. Just watch your baby closely so he doesn't gag or choke. Good luck and I hope he gets them in quickly for your sake! :)

yeah! both my boys started teething at 3 1/2-4 months
i gave them frozen wash clothes and frozen teething rings! you are suppose to dampen the Wash clothe just a little bit! also what really helped me ( and them ) was homeopathic teething pills , you can get them at CVS , Walgreen's , Meijer!
They are 100% Natural! They R Great!

Just cold water on a cloth will help. There are also plastic water filled teethers that you put in the fridge to get cold and he can chew on them. Remember that if things get bad, there is always baby ora gel.

Yes get it wet, not saturated first. I used the same thing with my daughter. It worked great. I also recommened gettting the Hyland teethng tablets. They are all natural and dissolve immediately. I found that they worked great. Good luck with your lil one.
