it should, if it doesn't then i have the lost the little respect i had for the civic. I have a 94 prelude with power steering, in fact i drained most of the power steering fluid because it;s a FF wheel drive car and i feel i got more control if it is understeering. Now i can turn my wheel 2 rotations at all intersections.

Power steering robs too much power from the motor, it's better to save that power to go faster in a straight line.

might depend on the model, but im sure it does come with power steering... if you open your hood, you would be able to see if it has it or not... there is a pulley connected by a belt to the crank pulley, with a hose going through it on the top of the driver side of the motor..

another sure way is to drive the car and feel it... if its hard to turn..you might not have it, if you can turn with your fingers... im pretty sure your good

Depends on the "badge". If I'm not mistaken it come out in 3 variants: DX, LX and EX (saloon, coupe and hatchback). The base line DX didn't have (but it came as an option). The LX and EX had as standard equipment.
