I am already on Birth Control and have been for about two months and I am still getting my period, even when skipping the sugar pills. My period started today and I am hopeing to have it over by Saturday because I have a dance to attend. Is there any ways to speed it up or end it?

No way to speed it up or delay or end it.

Skipping pills do not necessarily work all the time.

If you want to skip a period you must talk to your doctor and get a PROFESSIONAL opinion.

The birth control pill dosen't stop the blood from flowing, the body doesn't need all the extra blood it makes for the egg cell, so it gets rid of it, the pill only stops the ovaries from ovulating, and helps with cramps, you might still be on your period by Saterday, I've been on the pill for about 4 months now, I'm a heavy bleeder and it usually lasts for about 6 days, even though I'm on the pill, there really is no way to stop your bleeding, exercise might slow it down, but it won't stop it, just wear good protection at the dance.

what does having a dance have to do with having your period? Are you attempting to tell everyone you cannot do normal activities while having your period? On the pill you will still have your normal period, it may be lighter or shorter, but you will still have it. If you are taking your pills without taking a break, you are taking them incorrectly and could cause other problems in your health. You might wish to look into other forms of birth control, like an injection, implant, or something if you do not want your normal cycle and do not know how to follow instructions about how to take the medication properly.

No.

You might try the extended cycle pills like Seasonale, Sesonique or Lybrel next time. Generic Seasonale is very cheap.
