Leila. Here's a fork. Stick in Vick because he is all done in the NFL. He wasn't anywhere near they best QB ever in the NFL. He was a running back who threw the ball every now and again. LT does that. You need to get over the fact that Vick was a over paid mediocre has been. Be sure to put on lipstick and kiss the envelope when you send him his prison letters.

First of all... George B is a moron. What kind of BS answer was that, and which morons gave it a thumbs up? You three are special, and I don't mean in a good way.
He was paid as much as he was because of his speed, and as someone else mentioned, potential. I am not the biggest Vick fan out there, but he hasn't had the best stay in Atlanta either. Since being drafted by the Falcons the man has not had the same offensive coordinator for more than two years. That can make a HUGE impact on a team by switching coordinators (Just look at the Chargers this season). He had an arm in college, but hadn't shown it yet in the pros. Finally when you combine their ever changing offensive schemes with their ever changing crew of scrap wide receivers from the rest of the NFL, and you have mediocre seasons. He was still paid that much, however, because they felt that any year now he'd explode.

No. He had the biggest contract because Atlanta is full of black racist fans that wanted a black QB even though he wasn't any good. That is the only reason they packed the stands. In any other city, Matt Shaub would have been starting, and Vick would have been moved to a slash type position. Vick would have never been a good QB because he is dumb, and can't make good decisions. He is a helluva athlete though.
