Why not allow them to break it on their own or permit them to leave for their final reserved abode. This question is being asked because it has become a routine affair in India.

if the person fasting is a mentally capable ADULT and they are acting on their own accord and not being coerced then let them go. The government should not interfere.

Because fasting till death is started by Gandhi. The cause may be good or bad. Government should respond to the resistance.

Some people hae a following ,th eperson undertaking the fast knws that hios /her followers would destroy public properties if some thing happens to him.they undertake fast onoly because of his .that is why they do it afer announcement .ait is a fraudulent tactics.No man does it without announcement if he wants to create an impression on the society that he proposes to die .for a cause . he has a huge benefit to reap .those who really die for thepeole goiunnoticed and uncared for .

forget the political correctness, let them die, BUT if they have murdered/raped and tortured a person, keep them live. death is to good for them, let them suffer
