Apparently it involves large glasses, overalls (or some other unflatteringly large/baggy clothing), perhaps some math aids (protractor, slide rule, etc), maybe a pocket protector with an unholy number of pens, usually pig-tails for the hair style, bland colors or an abundance of plaids

i love spirit week its so much fun. Buy some stupid glasses or even go to a party or Halloween store and get some thick black glasses and put tape on the center. Get like a white Fancie dress shirt and put pens and pencils in it or even some corduroy pans. Got something plaid like. Put your hair in pig tails like really high up. And get really long socks that like go up to your knees but you would have to where short for people to see and just have fun

when i was in HS, i went to party city and bought the nerd kit that had a pen protector, glasses, and a name tag. Separately i bought one of those hats with the fan on top (@ party city too). Yank up your pants so that they're to your ankles. Also for a girl put your hair in pig tails or the sideways pony tail...like the girl on Napolean Dynamite.

if you have bangs curl them backwards and fluff them up real big like the early 90's, if no bangs straighten your hair and curl just the ends under and part to the side. ugly glasses with gold frames (plain), a t shirt, "mommy" jeans (not fitted or flattering), a sweater tied around your shoulders. keds. XD

wear a plaid short sleeve button down shirt. big rimmed glasses. put hair into high messy pig tails with optional braids =] put dark lipstick on really really messy, maybe even get some on your teeth =] wear your pants or shorts really high and get some suspenders and a bow tie if you can =]
