I've been thinking that myself. There was a lot less jealousy then. It was much harder to keep track of people too, so there were less cases of stalking and report abuse. Maybe Y! should drop the contact system.

I did not participate in the program . In fact I was invited into becoming a contact so I could not say whether it was friendlier or not. But I can say that recently there has been bullying rudeness back stabbing etc that does not speak well for the contacts option. Some of my contacts, however, have been very good to me so I am grateful in that regard because I would not have met them without the contacts option, particularly you, Mrs T,, sportscutie (My first contact) and my angel Haroula and my honeybee Fickle 1

Hi,
I wasn't around then. I really enjoy the contact side of YA as you get to know people and I've made some great friends on this site. I am disturbed though that so many are having problems and there seems to be something really weird going on that seems to spoil the atmosphere. It's like: I get the impression, who do you trust? That's why I like the contact side so much. There are some whose friendship I have complete faith in.

I consistently ask first,,, the different night I had a youthful lady upload me devoid of asking, and my profile does say to ask first, she did no longer ask and that i presumed approximately blocking off her because of the fact she's a point 3 and he or she replied one in all my question and particularly i did no longer like her answer because of the fact she became a smart @ss, yet i desperate to furnish the lady a wager, her profile says she's 15 hummmmm. My look after is up on her! I have no concern in any respect with human beings including me, in basic terms ask so i know who's who. i like all my contacts... yet by ability of how my followers look no person is looking me, they are doing it in any case "sigh"

All I know is that I love having my contacts here! I have become very good friends with so many of them...and have never had so much fun on here before as I do now! They are the best!!! =D

I wouldn't know about that, but I like about 90 % of my contacts and get along well with them. A lot of us are friends.
Some of my contacts don't seem to know I exist, but no big deal.
I think the ones that hang in their groups will do it with or without contacts.
All I know is you can't force people to be nice and like you if they don't want to. So, I leave the ones that don't want to, alone.

no,it was better because there weren't so many people like now!of course,there were a few odd-balls,but on the whole,everybody was nice!i like it to have contacts,cause it's so much easier to see their questions!
