While it is occasionally possible for me to see where those with whom I disagree "are coming from", it is always clear that what they are advocating would harm the United States.
Since I care about my country, I see it as my duty to advocate what is best for my nation and oppose those who don't have my nation's best interests at heart.

Here in Canada when we have elections there might be 7or8 different parties to choose from. But there are only two parties that always seem to win the election anyway. It's always the liberals or the conservatives or Tories. We have a pretty good left wing party but even with the huge following always fall short at the polls. We have a Green party and a communist party as well as a rhino party and even a sex party. As you can see there really is only two parties that get most of the votes.

Because our policies and ideologies are opposed. I can't stress enough that disagreeing with the other sides policy is fine, but only the immature would go into the cheer leading crowd that opposes everything the other side does (including cackling like a witch, which is funny but irrelevant in politics).

Because, it's part of the master plan. You see, we alien cyborgs are trying to destroy you humans before we rape and pillage your planet and move on to the next world filled with resources and violent sociopaths. So keep fighting! The less of you there are, the weaker the resistance once the invasion takes place.
