Some suggest that hierarchical structure is unavoidable and necessary. Others believe Anarchy is attainable. Thoughts?

Anarchy will lead to "gangs" or "groups" being formed composed to people with similar beliefs. They will feel they have a right to land/person/property and because there are no laws to stop them; they will do as they please. As rival gangs compete for land/person/property, large bloodsheds will occur. No government installations will mean no health care, no proper trade of goods will occur, no rescue, no education and finally - any sympathy for other lifeforms will be erased.

Let's not even start considering the militia groups that exist right now.

i think by saying that the only rule is there are no rules then there would still be a rule. and so that part of it is completly impossible due to reason. but if humans were innocent of the structure and did not know anything about it or anything about rules and such then it would be possible to live in anarchy.

I think that anarchy would be possible if the human population was small and spread out a lot. The way we are now, however, would make it impossible in my opinion.

Yes but everybody dosnt kno wat that means yet. I think its best because it could save alot of lives without bush sending our brothers, uncles, fathers to the army. I personally beleive in anarchy.
