My boyfriend is a little concern because while we started to have sex the other day, his penis went limp. That has happened a couple of times and he's only 27. He says that he's turned on and doesn't understand why this happens. What could be wrong with him? Should he go see a doctor? What type of doctor should he go see? Gentlemen, what are your thoughts on the matter?

Well, it can be caused by alot of different factors, the main cause usually being high amounts of stress.

Has work been extra stressful lately? Is money tight? Did a relative or someone close to him pass on recently? Has he started a new prescirption drug? Had he been drinking heavily that night?

Have him sit down, and take a look at the other things going on in your lives. If nothing seems out of place stress related, then I would suggest going to see his normal doctor first. Not a comfortable topic to talk about with a doctor, but just his regular physican is fine.

My friend at your age it is not a problem The problem is in the mind and thinking about it makes it worse.First think no problem but it is a slow process. There is a problem in your life like pressure from job, financially or any thing can lead to this.Like some one ill or so when you simply no longer a healthy person mentally. So soak 10 almonds in a glass of water at night. In the morning peel the skin and chew it very slowly.Drink glass of hot milk with a pinch of ginger power and a pinch of saffron.A pinch of elachi.Eat 2 dates 2-3 times daily. This is from a well known indian doctor. You must think positivese all the time and stay away from hand practice or sex for few weeks and soon within monthh you will be ok.This is temporaryy problem. So do not worry about it and do not take Viagra or so on can cause side effects.Eat also a spoon of ghee with spoon of Gur.Hope u will recover from this within a week and I guarantee that it is due to stress or anxiety. If you need any more information come back and let me know.

it is most likely not ED. (erectile dysfunction)
the penis going limp could be from several different things, such as stress, sickness, being too tired, or medications sometimes bring it on. Chances are he is just fine, just maybe going thru some Sh*% right now and the body can react to that. If he is on meds, check out the side effects. Bring it up to the doctor too, just to be safe. however, the WORST thing you could do right now is think it is because of you or even suggest that. It happens to many men! But it definitley does not mean he is unattracted to you or anything else. As for a doctor, his regular doc should be just fine. But I would wait to see if it happens more frequently before you really worry. Good luck, I hope this has helped!

while it is most probably 'performance anxiety' he should see his doctor and discuss (just in case it is something serious)

Most probably his doctor will give him some sample viagra and after using it once or twice he will have gotten past whatever is bothering him and be back to normal

you can read about these meds and their potential side effects at the pharmacy website below

good luck

I started to have ED in college. It's not just an old man's problem. Bf should see his family doctor, who might refer him to a urologist or endocrinologist.

Most likely its mental or maybe stress, but he needs to go see his regular doctor first and if he can't answer his questions, he will get referred to a urologist.

You need a 50 cent toy machine solution. Buy him a few stretchy jelly bracelets to wear there. They have a tiny hole, but stretch really nice, & provide support of a longer lasting erection. I realize that I didn't answer any of your questions, but instead gave you the solution.

Well I'm 22 and can do it twice on the same erection, so I think he should see his regular doctor.

He should see his regular doc. This could be caused by a bunch of different things, including prescription meds and alcohol.

Its more common than men want to believe, so tell him to stop stressing over it.
