I am still very saddened over the loss of River Phoenix. Such talent and such loss of potential...it still bothers me and he's been gone about 14 years now...about the age we first all met him in Stand by Me.

I truly cried for 2 celebrities when they died--
Karen Carpenter, because her death from anorexia was so POINTLESS, and her voice was so beautiful.
And George Burns, who entertained us for 6o YEARS, and kept it clean.

Princess Di. That was just so sad, and she seemed like such a loving person. The funny thing is, I really didn't follow her in current events prior to that. I never realized how much of herself she gave. It seemed as if the world mourned for her that day.Such a loss.

Wow, yeah and it was eerie how they faded out on him on Stand By Me, one of the best movies ever. It is very sad. He could have done so much more.

I would have to say that the Celebrity that I mourned for the most was Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She was an amazing woman. She lived a full and fortunate life.

Steve Irwin. He did so much for conservation and animal welfare. He might have been overly confident in the midst of dangerous animals but he did more good then bad. And of course the peoples princess, Diana. What an an amazing lady and influence. She worked so hard for charity and is a terrible loss.
